In December 2020, we had the pleasure to illuminate the nature sanctuary, Patch of Heaven Gardens. They approached us because they were in need of outdoor lighting to light their vast gardens for evening events. Before we started they only had a few paths illuminated. With brass led spot lights, brass path lights, and brass micro LEDs we lit the surrounding trees and architecture. There are several Buddha sculptures throughout that we lit up with our exclusive micro LEDs. Our in ground lights installed in the pathways surrounded by coral walls look beautiful after dark. One of the largest koi ponds in South Florida is now visible from end to end with our commercial grade submersible LEDs. The cascades cast a glittering glow with the 2700K warm white light. The tea house with copper roof and IPE deck are professionally lit with our brass deck lights and micro LEDs. Please schedule a visit to see this beautiful gem hidden in the Redlands.
The Patch of Heaven Sanctuary is South Miami-Dade County’s version of paradise. Seeking to preserve tropical hardwood hammocks and create new habitats for native wildlife. With beautiful natural ponds, native trees, bees, bats and other wildlife make the habitat a serene place to relax and learn about South Florida’s ecosystem.
The sanctuary is a place where visitors can enjoy a day of learning about South Florida’s ecosystem, it’s history, and how to preserve it for future generations. Offering guided tours of the sanctuary are by appointment only. For more information, please visit www.patchofheavensanctuary.org.
